Our events programme aims to help you get the most from the ideaSpace community and support you in growing your business.
Attending events is a great way to tap into the amazing resource provided by your fellow members – all at various stages of progress along the entrepreneurial learning curve and with potential insights to share.
From office-based get togethers to Cambridge-wide events, ideaSpace offers you the opportunity to network, hear from other successful start-ups and attend valuable workshops, sessions and talks.
Here are some examples of what we do:

Mix and Mingles
We host a mix and mingle in each office at least once a week. Take a break from the screen and chat with other founders in the office over cake and coffee or an afternoon drink on a Friday. Many invaluable conversations have started over a cold beer or a slice of Victoria sponge.

Bell Ringings
We like to celebrate your successes with you. If you get some big news or hit a milestone you’ve been working so hard to reach, we want to recognise it. But not only that – we believe it’s great to share your experience with everyone in the office. So we provide the champagne, and you get to ring our brass bell and tell the story of how you got there.

Founders’ Events
Our founders’ events, such as the Breakfast Circle and meals out, provide the opportunity for members from all three shared offices to get together over breakfast to discuss various issues, or in the evening over a drink and a bite to eat. They’re a great way to meet other founders and entrepreneurs who are going through a similar journey.

Summer and Christmas Events
Both popular occasions on the ideaSpace calendar, our summer and Christmas events offer a chance for you (and your team if you have one) to get together and relax with the rest of the ideaSpace community. Enjoy the activities and celebrations that come with each season, from punting or games in the summer sunshine, to a three-course meal in a cosy pub in the winter.

Start-up Stories
Hosted live online or recorded as a podcast, this event is all about hearing the highs and lows of a founder's Start-up journey. How it began, what was needed to make it successful - not forgetting the failures and lessons learned along the way. Always insightful and packed full of tips and advice for any founder - follow us on Linkedin to hear about the next one or check out the podcast here

The Entrepreneurship Clinic
These two-hour workshops bring together three ideaSpace founders and three knowledgeable start-up professionals. As a founder, you get the opportunity to discuss one-to-one with an expert a topic or challenge that’s impacting the development of your business. All new members are invited to take part during their first few months at ideaSpace.
The Basics of Building a Business
Open to the wider Cambridge entrepreneurial community, our B3 event provides an opportunity to hear from an ideaSpace member or alumni and three professionals who have contributed to their success. Offering practical tips and salient advice, not forgetting the pizza, beer and networking to finish, our B3 event has proved a popular addition to the Cambridge entrepreneur’s calendar.
